Managed services and tech provider Spirit Technology Solutions (ASX:ST1) has secured a new multi-year agreement with Cisco for its Webex Wholesale offering.
The agreement will broaden the $33.89 million market capitalisation company’s capability to bring new services to the market in an expedited manner and provide an opportunity to scale up its Nexgen business and lock in its growth.
In addition to the agreement with Cisco, Spirit is launching a new dealer program to build on its work to date. This program will enable the company to bring advanced solutions to market under a new service offering.
Spirit will resell Cisco offerings to small managed services providers that do not have the ability to do their own communications and telephony.
The company will offer the services under 5-year contracts and is aiming to sign up more than 100 dealers across Australia within the next 18 months.
Spirit Technology Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Julian Challingsworth says the company’s extended relationship with Cisco presents an opportunity to ‘significantly’ scale and expand its product offering.
“In addition, the agreements deliver on our strategy of securing further partnerships with our leading global technology partners and expanding our Australian presence through signing new customers.”
