Best Buy has had a busy November — and that’s saying the very least. The electronics retailer has been releasing early Black Friday deals, weekend-long holiday doorbusters, and limited-time, app-exclusive “Drops” for weeks ahead of its official Black Friday sale, which will run for 10 days starting Nov. 21.

Come Thursday, Best Buy shoppers “can expect Black Friday deals on everything from TVs and laptops to headphones and smart rings, electric scooters, and more,” per a company press release. This includes return appearances from doorbusters that were live earlier in the month, including a $749 M2 Apple MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM (normally $999), a $600 48-inch LG OLED TV (normally $800), a $230 Dyson stick vacuum (normally $500), and a $430 HP Victus gaming laptop (normally $800).

These offers will be live right away Thursday for paid members of the My Best Buy program (Plus and Total tiers), then on Friday, Nov. 21 for the general public. Expect all-new doorbusters to drop that day, too.

Once Black Friday proper rolls around on Nov. 29 — so nice of it to finally show up — Best Buy will ramp up its Drops program with a series of short-term, app-only “Flash Deals” starting at 9 a.m. ET.

Why we like it

If an “it girl” of TVs existed, she would undoubtedly be Samsung’s viral “The Frame,” a QLED 4K TV that displays realistic-looking artwork on its matte screen when you’re not watching anything. (It comes with a Slim-Fit Wall Mount so it can be hung flush against the wall.) The 2024 iteration has had its colors approved by Pantone, and all models that are at least 55 inches large can automatically turn down their refresh rates in Art Mode to save energy.

At $1,299.99, or a healthy 35% off, Best Buy’s discount on the 65-inch model matches a Black Friday deal on Samsung’s website.

Why we like it

Microsoft’s 13-inch Surface Pro 11 is a newer 2-in-1 Copilot+ PC with a crisp 120Hz display and an advertised battery life of up to 14 hours. (We haven’t tested it ourselves, but Qualcomm-powered devices tend to be incredibly power efficient.) It doesn’t come with its own keyboard or stylus, which sucks, but the savings here help out a bit if you want to buy them separately.

The configuration with a Snapdragon X Plus CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage is on sale at Best Buy for $899.99 ahead of Black Friday — a 25% savings. If it sells out there, check the Microsoft Store and Amazon: both retailers were offering the same deal at the time of writing.

They don’t have quite as good sound quality as Sony’s WH-1000XM5 or ULT Wear headphones, but Mashable Shopping Reporter Sam Mangino considers the Bose QuietComfort Ultra “a worthy investment for comfort, not to mention battery life.” (They lasted all day in her testing.) They currently top two of Mashable’s “best headphones” guides: We think they’re the best noise-cancelling headphones for most people and the best headphones for flying.

Best Buy has them on sale in several colors for $329 ahead of Black Friday, which is 23% off their $429 MSRP and their lowest price to date. (Amazon was offering the same deal, FYI.) Note that the QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are also on sale at Best Buy; we love them, too.
