Austco Healthcare (ASX:AHC) has been awarded a $3.8 million contract to refresh its Tacera Nurse Call platform for the Jurong Health Campus in Singapore.
The Jurong Health Campus includes the 700-bed Ng Teng Fong General Hospital and the 400-bed Jurong Community Hospital.
Austco, which has a $50.88 million market capitalisation, says its refreshed system is set to enhance Jurong Health’s capabilities in responding to patient needs. The updated care communications system will introduce ‘innovative features designed to revolutionise patient care’.
These innovative features will include Austco’s new RTLS-enabled call points for staff locating and duress notifications, which the company says are tailored to meet the ‘highest’ standards of healthcare communications.
With this contract, Austco’s open sales orders stand at $40.7 million.
Austco Healthcare Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Clayton Astles says it is an ‘honour’ to be chosen by Jurong Health for this ‘transformative’ project.

Following this announcement, Austco’s share price is up 5.7% to $0.185 as of 3:00pm on Friday 3 November.
Jurong Health provides healthcare services to the residents of Jurong and the surrounding areas.
